26.11.2024: Together with experts from the Regional Grove Propagation Association (RGV) and pupils from Weikendorf elementary school, juniper seeds were collected in the Weikendorfer Remise nature reserve. The seeds will be grown into small trees in the care of the RGV so that they can then be planted in the nature reserve and ensure the continued existence of the juniper heath, a typical but now rare habitat in the region, in the future. ©A.
